I want to share with you a few things. from participants of my Online Coach Training Groups.

Today I was moved to TEARS! Today is day 4 of my May Coach Online Training Group, where I privately train my new coach’s to get them started right.

Today’s assignment was to share with me and the group, why you became a Beachbody Coach!

One of my new coach’s stepped outside of his comfort zone and made a video on it. He shared some personal things which are the driving forces behind him selecting Beachbody products and what motivated him to join my team. What really hit home to me was one of his closing statements….

“(I become a Beachbody Coach because) It makes me excited and I haven’t had that in a long time!”

Click here to watch the video he made.

Do you feel the same way about your life?
Are you tired of going through the motions, just getting by?
Do you want to feel passionate about something?
Do you want something that not just makes you smile, but makes you down right EXCITED?
Do you want a brighter future?

I became a coach because I was tired of hating my body. I wanted to love myself and started to do that because of the results I saw from the products Team Beachbody offers. After I finally started to like my body, I wanted to help people change their life and feel good because I had never felt so fulfilled and happy with myself before.”

My “why” was sort of a mixture of reasons. My coach kept posting about Focus T25 and her results so I decided to give P90X a try to change up my workout routine. I had lost about 30-35 pounds prior to ever really knowing much about Beachbody and she was so excited about Shakeology and the program, I figured it was worth a shot. I have always wanted a way to get others excited and motivated about fitness and healthy eating and thought this would be a great way to do that. Plus, I figured it would be a great way to supplement my income so that I could pay off some debt and be able to live like no one else eventually and have that freedom that comes with it.”

My ‘why.’ Honestly, what made me pull the trigger and become a coach was the money potential. No one ever got rich working 9-5 (staying inside the box). My wife and I love to travel. It would be nice to not have to worry about vacation days or if we can afford it.”

“When I was doing the Coach Training Academy I really worked on my why, thought hard, wrote it a few times and its really personal and meaningful to me. Here it is. My Why: For my children I will fight the trend of obesity and end the body issues my 9 year old is dealing with. For my children I will better who I am and the energy I have for them every day. I will better our little families life one step at a time. In all honesty it also has to do with depression. Its a silent disease I struggle with on a daily basis and through fitness, positive outlooks, motivation and having positive people in my life which I have gained from beach body, I hope to one day rid myself of that and hope my daughter can never feel it again either. Through my happiness I hope to bring joy and positivity to my children’s lives. Its for my 2 children and myself, for us I will continue to work as hard as I can to succeed with this venture.

I originally became a coach for the 25% off discount. But that is transforming as of 1 week today now being a coach into something different. Im passionate about my health and the health of my husband n children. My 10 yr old son is over weight, in fact he just signed up for football n has to lose 15 lbs. by July 26th. And thats playing with 12 and 13 yr old boys! I want my husband to quit his job as a mechanic that he’s been doing for the last 34+ yrs and breaking his back doing it for us. I want our family to be able to have quality time together, be able to take a vacation, move into a bigger home so 2 of my children wont have to share a room anymore and can stop killing each other. I want to get this damn lap-band out of me that has been nothing but a freaking curse since the day I got it! Its ruined my health completely n because of it I cant eat like a normal humane n i puke every time I do. I want to learn how to eat all over again. The right way. I want us all in my family to be happy healthy and fit & I want to pay it forward. Im in the 2014 Team Relentless Group.”

My why is all about my family. To not live pay check to pay check and to get Mike out of driving truck. The truck is literally killing him. He has gained so much weight being sedentary, it adds to his depression and he is not up for being active with the kids because he works such long hours. I want us to be financially secure and have freedom to build a solid foundation for retirement. I love my job so I have no plans of quitting just making an extra income.”

– (female) Participant 7, California

“My why.. I wanted to become a coach because I love to challenge myself and make myself better. I was sick of feeling unmotivated and ready to give up on my body. When I saw the difference it was making in my friends lives I knew I had to make that change for me. I have now been a coach for almost 3 weeks and I can proudly say I love it . It does make me go outside of my comfort zone, which is such a great thing. My self esteem is over the moon…  I no longer feel like I am alone.”

– (female) Participant 8, California

My WHY: I was/am disgusetd with myself. The way I look and feel! I want to feel good about myself inside and out and be more confident in myself! I want too feel this way for myself and my husband. The more I feel bad about myself the more I think that is how he sees me and how could he be attracted to me!

– (female) Participant 9, California

My why. When I was in school I was a toothpick at the most I weighed 120. When I was a Senior in high school I ended up pregnant and had my son. I was able to get back down to a size smaller. When I was 20 I had my daughter and again I was able to get back down a size smaller. When I was 23 I had my other daughter and had my tubes tied. After working like crazy the smallest I was able to get was a size 12. I could not get the weight off. When my mom was killed in 2003 I was also a size 12. Well it all went down hill after I got married in 2004. With the insurance money from my mother’s death we paid off all of our bills and I did not have to work. I did not see myself like my family did they would see me eating half gallons of ice cream. I went from a size 12 to a size 18 in two years. It did not stop there before I knew it I was a size 24. I have always told myself I would not look like my mother, but when I looked in the mirror I did. I told myself you have to do something about this. It went on for several years and I did nothing. I signed up as a coach in June of 2013 so I could use the Shakeology and workout programs to loose my weight with the intentions of helping others do the same while eating right. I am in the process of loosing my weight I have gone from a 24 to a 20. I also have started my personal trainer courses.”

 – (female) Participant 10, California

I became a Team Beachbody originally to get 25% off products such as Shakeology that I used everyday! I knew it was worth the savings in the long run. Then I realized that I waned share the success that I had with P90X with everyone so they could feel how great I felt when I completed. That if I already had a coach account, and doing all that extra work, that I might as well get paid for it. This allows me to have a little more financial freedom to go on mission trips, to help my family members who are less fortunate, and to allow me to continue paying off and debt.

I am passionate about people loving themselves getting excited about their results and changes. I love getting that message that can simply say “Thank You.” knowing that I made a positive change in someones life. I am also passionate about improving myself to be better.

I will not quite because then I would not be leading by example which I try to do for my challengers. People want to follow leaders not quitters. Being a coach not only keep me accountable for my health and fitness but it keeps me continuing to want to better myself as a coach and individual. The consistent PD changes who we are and allows us to continue growing.”

I became a Beachbody coach because I’ve always wanted to run my own business. I want more time with my family. I want to make my own hours and not have a cap on my salary. Being a business owner gives us unlimited potential. I would love to retire from nursing and work from home full time with my family & pay down some debt. Right now I’m a hospice nurse and I am on call 7 days/week from 8am-8pm (sometimes later than that) unless I am on vacation. I have no control of my own time and my family life is suffering. Last week I worked 7 days straight. My FAMILY is my biggest WHY! I want the best wife and mother i can be and I believe BB can help me with this through healthy lifestyle and PD! I have to give this business my ALL & make it work!”

I became a Beachbody Coach because I was tired of complaining about being fat, and doing nothing about it. I became a Beachbody Coach because I wanted to change my life so I could be a better role model for my step children and teach them healthy habits so they could have a better life. I became a Beachbody Coach so I could continue to stay home and pursue my education and life long dream of becoming a Registered Nurse while having financial freedom and the ability to pay off our debts. I became a Beachbody Coach because I NEED to be held accountable for my actions, and lack there of!”

I have several reasons why but this is what made me sign up as a coach initially.

We didn’t talk about goals and dreams when I was growing up. I don’t remember anyone ever asking me what I wanted to be, what my plan was, or what I wanted out of life. I grew up with very little expectation. As I’ve shard before, our whole lives fell apart and completely changed five years ago. My husband had a comfortable income, I stayed home with our babies, we had a great house, two cars in the garage, and a dog in a beautiful backyard, that had a swing set we built together.

All of that went away in was seemed like an instant. On the brink of divorce, living separate lives, me now working two jobs to take care of our children I now could only see for one week every other week because we had joint custody. When we let go of each other we lost everything. I also let go of God and lost myself for that time too. It was the worst time in my life second only to losing my mother.
We did reconcile and over time our relationship improved but our financial situation did not. Me at a dead end job, and my husband starting a new career, we have been living pay check to pay check, with our heads just above the water, only getting by by the grace of God.
A few years ago it became apparent to me that things were going to stay this way and that I had to figure out what I wanted to do with my career life. If I was going to have to work full time from now on, I are least wanted to make better money. Thanks to God I was able to find happiness in my work life but I knew I couldn’t do that forever. I needed a career, and heard it said once or twice that some people loved their jobs, and got paid for their passion. What?! You mean that’s a real thing?!
So I began to think about what I wanted to do. Over the years as I have struggled with my weight I have discovered a passion for health and fitness, and to help others succeed as I have. I have been waiting for an opportunity to go back to school to pursue that as a career, when about a year ago I was presented with the coach opportunity. Talk about a rainbow in the clouds.
Being a Beachbody coach means I can have that career now without having to go back to school. I can enrich peoples lives and show them how to accomplish their goals and dreams all from the privacy of my home. I can have my time with my family back. This business is my hope and my future with God as my center. I am so thankful for this opportunity, and that all these recent revelations have come about after becoming a coach a year ago. I know that God has been teaching me and growing me to prepare me to be a great coach, and lead others not only in fitness but in faith. I don’t have it all figured out, but I’ve been through more than most, and I’m glad for that now. That’s all the more people I can help.
Be happy. Be hopeful. Be patient. Be Blessed.”

I have been a full-time-stay-at-home coach for 6 months now. I have been running online training groups. I started off doing 60 day training programs. People lost interest. About 5-10% of the participants actually stuck around and completed it.
So I tried 6 week programs. Same thing happened. So for the past 2 months, I’ve been running 21 day programs (kinda like 21 Day Fix but for coach’s to meet their business needs while on their health/weight loss journey). Guess what? Success!!! Since then there has been MORE participation, more people staying til the end, more coach’s reaching Success Club and 10 rank advancements.

Today was the last day of Mindy’s April 2014 DIAMOND Run. Here is what a few of them had to say about what the training group(s) have done for them.

Would you like to participate in my June Training Group? (non-coach’s only or TEAM RELENTLESScoach’s). If you are not ready to take the leap and starting training, I have a 5 day coach sneak peak to let you see behind the scenes, what is involved as coach (no you don’t have to be personal trainer, have experience in the fitness/health industry, be at your goal weight, completed a program, a “salesman”). If you’d like more information, contact me today so I can get you on the list to be involved in 1 of the groups!

“Within the last two months I decided this is what I wanted. It was time to take it from the hobby it had become to what I do, which I got from theOPERATION: NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND group. I set business hours where I gave up the only time of day I have to relax, with a husband out of town for the last five weeks, and stayed up until 12 most nights while getting up at 5:30 every morning for workouts and work. The first few days I’d put my kids to bed and not know what to do. I don’t have a very big customer base and although a few people and fellow coaches have come to me for motivation, I didn’t have much going and had ZERO vision.

I feel like I am awake now. I feel like I had no freaking clue how great this opportunity was. My eyes are wide open and the more I dig in and so the work the more clear my vision becomes. The greater my goals and my why become. I know I have a lot to so but I’ve been home for one week now and can’t sleep past 6:30 am because I am so freaking excited to get out of bed and start my day. It may be a slow go for me, but I have faith in the timing. When it does take off, as I grow and push through every day eating frog after frog, I know I’ll be ready and better equipped.

I have learned what I want, how to get it, and how to lead. Thank you Mindy Hord once again. You are an amazing coach I am proud to be on your team!!!”

“I can’t say what my biggest takeaway was because I absorbed every little thing you sent our way and every piece was very valuable. I will say that every time I join a training group like this, everyone is super excited in the beginning, and at the end there’s only a few of us left. I think that shows who is really committed and I’m so excited to see us turn into the new top coaches!”

“This group gave me my focus back. It’s easy to lose sight when you get discouraged. There a few things I still need to work on but I will hit my goals!”

“I always lead by default. If someone else isn’t willing to lead, then I will step up. All this time I’ve wondered why people don’t want to follow me, but it’s because I haven’t been leading! It seems obvious, but it took this group for me to see it. This group gave me what I need to be doing every single day to lead & keep leading.”
