The Details

This program is a 13-week program.

There are “3 phases” that are 4 weeks each and then the final phase that is 1 week long.

There 80 DIFFERENT workouts (Which means you will NEVER do the same workout twice!)

Each week you complete 6 workouts (You can start it on any day of the week. We started as a group on a Monday, which made Sunday our designated rest day).

The workouts range from 30-60 minutes long.

Each week you will complete the following workouts: Total Body Core, Booty, Cardio Core, AAA (Arms, Abs & Ass), Legs and Cardio Flow. (The order in which the workouts are done each week varies each phase. For example, in Phase 1, Leg Day was every Friday and then it was on Thursday during Phase II and then switched to Wednesday in Phase III).

The only equipment you need is a light set of weights (for beginners, I would suggest 8, 10 & 12 and for someone with an intermediate fitness level 10, 12 & 15 and for the advanced 10, 15 & 20), a set of sliders and resistance loops.

When you purchase one of our 80 Day Obsession combo-packs, you get two sets of resistance loops (two different lengths) and a set of sliders that can be used on any surface).

(I suggest purchasing the resistance loops designated for this program because you want to make sure you have the right resistance & colors so that you can keep up with the workouts. please know how important is to get the ones recommended by Autumn Calabrese. You want to make sure that the resistance & length is the same and that the colors are the same so you can keep up with them.

A coach ordered these and had to use three of the bands from Amazon to match the resistance of a medium and a heavy band from the Beachbody’s set!

The YELLOW Beachbody light band is about the resistance of the medium band in the Amazon set, and the medium band in the Beachbody SET (green) is the resistance of the heavy band in the Amazon set. The blue heavy band is heavier than the extra heavy purple band!  And they are a tad longer, which makes a huge difference!!

How Timed Nutrition Works

A few of the elements of this plan may be unfamiliar to you, so here are a few key terms you’ll need to know.

CALORIE TARGET: Before you start 80 Day Obsession, you’ll calculate how many calories you need to consume each day, and choose a nutrition plan built around that calorie target.

WORKOUT BLOCK: This is the four- to five-hour block of time before, during, and after your workout. The nutrition plan revolves around this window, and you’ll follow specific guidelines for which color-coded containers and supplements you can use during this block. You’ll also eat three small meals outside of your workout block, along with a Recharge supplement before bed.

BEACHBODY PERFORMANCE: Our workout supplements — Energize, Hydrate, Recover, and Recharge — are built into the nutrition plan to maximize your results.

REFEED DAY: You’ll boost your carb intake on refeed day — but it’s not a cheat day. “A cheat day is a free-for-all,” Benté says.

DEPLETE DAY: During the last week of the program, you have the option of reducing your carbs and increasing your protein to finish strong with an all-out “shed and shred.”

REST DAY: These days should be taken as seriously as the rest of the plan. “It’s not an opportunity to go do another workout,” Benté says. “Your body needs that recovery.”

 80 Day Obsession Plan B

When you commit to the program, you will calculate what calorie bracket you will follow. It all depends on whether your goal is weight loss or maintaining your current weight. Here is a sample of what a perfect day of eating out of Plan B would look like.

Meal 1 (pre-workout meal):
• 8 egg whites + 1 c. Spinach cooked in 1 tsp of extra virgin organic coconut oil
• 1/2 c. organic steel cut oats
Meal 2 (post-workout meal):
• 3/4 c chicken
• 1/2 c organic wild rice
• cilantro + onions + 2 tsp. Hatch Green Chile Salsa
